Using RSS feed technology, you can select from a pre-set list of channels, as well as adding your own “feeds,” making Tick-it the best way to keep up with what matters to you. Tick-it can even pull in other social media feeds, such as Twitter, so you can consolidate and personalize your online life.

Keep your private life private

Tick-it channels are private, so your boss doesn’t get the details from last night’s party, and your family isn’t bored with your latest project from work. Tick-it lets you be social without making you sweat your next job interview.

Can the spam

Since Tick-it is a private communications system, you don’t have an “address” that lets in spammers. Everyone in the group is invited and approved by the group organizer.  The group organizer even has the ability to restrict posting privileges or remove any member. So, if Uncle Larry posts too many bad jokes, even he can be put on “mute.” 

Oops! insurance

Make a mistake? Wish you could take that message back?  Because Tick-it is a secure communications system, you can edit your messages even after they’ve been sent.

Keep an eye on things

Tick-it runs right on your desktop. No browser needed. It remains open, but unobtrusive, while you go about your day. You can “snap” tick-it to the top or bottom of your screen, move it around and even resize it.  It continues to operate while you work in other programs on your PC, Mac or Linux system. When information that matters scrolls by on Tick-it, simply click on the headline for more information - no more dropping what you were doing to open a web browser or email program– important information is delivered directly where you need it, streamlining your information gathering.
